What is Alcohol Ink? I get ink all over my hands with a rainbow of colors. It’s all one big experiment for me. Sometimes the results are controlled, and sometimes they are unexpected. The abstract often becomes more than intended; “happy accidents” abound. Ultimately, the process by which I achieved the results is usually my most treasured aspect of creating.
This painting is from a trip to Big Bend National Park Box Canyon. The shadows play on the canyon wall your imagination can go wild as you approach the end of the canyon and make a turn into the unknown.
