It’s All Down Stream Div. II, Third place, Mixed Media

This is a resin piece with a very earthy nature tone. Mica powders of gold metallic, silver metallic, moss green, and a pop of brilliant purple added to clear resin form the back ground to this dramatically flowing river feel. I used fire glass, crushed shells, and real crushed stones to complete the rivers banks. All the cell work and blending is done using a heat gun and a torch. There are many layers within this piece.
